We are now only four shy of last year’s full-year membership.  Outreach contributions already exceed last year’s and match the full-year amount for two years ago.  Our routine expenses have remained modest, and the AAAP’s surplus for the year-to-date has therefore risen [...]

NASA Releases Images of Man-Made Crater on Comet

NASA’s Stardust spacecraft returned new images of a comet showing a scar resulting from the 2005 Deep Impact mission. The images also showed the comet has a fragile and weak nucleus.
